LTL Trucking COmpany adding jobs and expanding

Trucking is an important and growing industry. It’s arguably the lifeline of the U.S. economy as more than 70% of all the freight tonnage moved in the U.S. goes on trucks.[i] Last year saw record-setting levels of freight-hauling demand and driver pay as tonnage levels reached a 20-year high. The trucking industry is expected to remain strong in 2019.[ii]

Total Transportation & Distribution, Inc. of Southern California is growing too. We are adding jobs across the industry, from driving jobs to payroll specialists. If a company that prioritizes teamwork, integrity, and safety sounds appealing, the new website also features a Careers Portal where candidates can see a list of open positions at Total Transportation and Distribution. Job openings listed on this website will range from executive positions and accounting, to dispatch, to driving for Total.

Over the past few months, we’ve posted jobs in La Mirada and Rancho Cucamonga, in addition to drivers. Our drivers are the best in the LTL industry, with the skills to work as an individual and as part of a team to meet the level of satisfaction that our customers have come to know us by.

Spurred by our success and industry growth, we’re hiring the following: a dispatcher to communicate work assignments and take responsibility of monitoring and verifying the successful completion of each assignment; a 3PL account representative who serves as a direct link to our customers by providing information in response to inquiries about products, shipping, receiving, and services; a payroll specialist who will accurately and efficiently process and manage the company’s full-cycle payroll process using various systems to record timekeeping as well as payroll functions that include processes practices and record retention; two warehouse supervisors who are organized, reliable, detail- and service-oriented; a drayage dispatcher who communicates with customers to serve their needs, execute on-time pick-up and delivery, and quickly resolve service challenges that may arise; and an IT manager to support our operations in La Mirada and Rancho Cucamonga.

Once you find the right job for you, our website also offers simple steps for how to apply to that job. Feel free to check back to the website regularly as Total Transportation continues to grow and create new jobs.
