California trucking show 2019

On October 12th and 13th, Total Transportation and Distribution exhibited at the California Trucking Show in Ontario, CA. This is a premier trade show for heavy duty trucks, trailers, parts, and services. The event was a huge success- aisles were packed with over 263 vendors and more than 11,000 visitors.

Both days were filled with a busy list of activities and seminars, in addition to the exhibition booths. The seminars included tools to scale up business, how to grow companies, and updated regulation information. These topics are all very important to us at Total Transportation – we have been expanding our business and creating new jobs to even better serve our clients.

We are adding jobs across the industry, from driving jobs to payroll specialists. Job openings range from executive positions and accounting, to dispatch, to driving for Total.

Over the past few months we’ve posted jobs in La Mirada and Rancho Cucamonga, in addition to drivers. Our drivers are the best in the LTL industry, with the skills to work as an individual and as part of a team to meet the level of satisfaction that our customers have come to know us by.

We’re exciting to grow in such an increasingly important industry. Trucking is arguably the lifeline of the U.S. economy as more than 70% of all the freight tonnage moved in the U.S. goes on trucks.[i]

This was the third California Trucking Show, held annually. The event was supported by the California Trucking Association. Plans are already underway for next year’s show. In the meantime, if a company that prioritizes teamwork, integrity, and safety sounds appealing, our new website also features a Careers Portal where candidates can see a list of open positions at Total Transportation and Distribution.
