Total Transportation and Distribution has recently strengthened its’ growth plans putting human capital and equipment as the number one priority for the business. Tammy Stagner, HR Director for the company has been working very closely with President Guy Dominguez in a restructuring plan to make sure the company is prepared for growth. This includes re-emphasizing the company core values and how each employee is able to contribute to the next phase of the company.
Ms. Stagner has been involved in reviewing performance levels of each employee, hiring new employees and re-positioning existing employees in suitable roles. “With growth comes a lot of change and it is important we provide the right level of support for the business” says Ms. Stagner.
Please congratulate Carlos Guzman on his promotion to Operations Manager. Carlos was recently in the position of Logistics Management Analyst where he was instrumental in managing the evening Dispatch department in Mira Loma, assisting them in streamlining processes, eliminating errors and developing tracking mechanisms to ensure optimal customer service and satisfaction.
Operational efficiency is essential for growth, stability and profitability. Some of his new responsibilities will include improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organizations values. He will help find ways to improve workflow, reduce bottlenecks and help ensure things run smoothly in all departments, contributing to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy.
Please offer your congratulations to Victor Alatorre in his promotion to Dispatcher. Victor has been with the company as a Driver since April, 2011. During that time Victor has worked hard and has demonstrated the quality of Integrity, his commitment to Safety, his Teamwork approach and his Dependability. He has been professional and courteous to our customers and to his co-workers and it has not gone unnoticed. Victor has a strong work ethic and has always been willing to go that extra mile for the customer and the company.

Please join us in welcoming Robert Ortega to the position of Vehicle Maintenance/Safety Supervisor. Robert has over 15 years experience with his last position that of Southern Fleet Supervisor for a local and out-of-state carrier. In this position, Robert planned, organized, and directed the transportation activities of three locations with responsibility for productivity, efficiency, and customer service.
